What you can do during your holidays at the Turracher Höhe.

At first some general recommendations:

• Throughout the whole year the tour around the 3 lakes at the Turracher Höhe.
• During winter the big ski area Turracher Höhe, of course also for cross-country-skiing, whereby the slopes are open till end of April.
• During summer the Nockberg-Nationalpark is the starting point for excursions. It is a great hiking experience! A special adventure is a guided tour with the park rangers or directly from the house on your own.
• Other recommendations:

          - The lake of Millstädt and Ossiacher.

          - Downhill Murtal ist suitable for bicycle- and raftingtours

          - During bad weather a trip to Trieste at the Mediterranean sea

            (a 2.5 hours drive)

          - Bad Kleinkirchheim with the great Therme
